8 Step Nautical Ships Rope Ladder
1 In Stock
This is a 8 step nautical rope ladder we recovered from one of our salvage operations. This authentic nautical rope ladder has eight teak wood steps that measure 20 1/2 inches long, 4 1/2 inches wide, and about 1 1/2 inches thick. From the top of the rope ends to the bottom of the rope ends it measures about 8 feet long. Weighs about 40 pounds. The rope is original.
What would you do with this neat historical piece? Well, I have seen people make some cool shelves by attaching the rope to the wall or ceiling and allowing the rope ladder to hang down.
How would I hang or attach this to the wall or ceiling? Not that I am the expert in this area, but you could use a metal “L” bracket and attach to the top of bottom of the teak step. Another way is to place a section of rope or wire between the rope ends and then drive two large nails into the wall and allow the new section of rope to rest on the nails you placed in the wall. I am sure you will have some other ways to attach this to the wall or ceiling.
I have used the garden hose to wash it down, but you can expect it will have some of that normal salty air ship smell.
We currently have a nice selection of ladders in stock! You will be shipped the 8 step nautical ships rope ladder shown in the photos.
