Description
This nautical Kenya flag came from a decommissioned ship and measures approximately 51 inches long by 35 inches wide. The flag shows visible wear, with surface dirt and deep creases from its time at sea. We have not cleaned it, so it remains in its original, as-found condition. This makes it a great piece for collectors who prefer items in their raw state.
The flag features Kenya’s national design. It includes black, red, and green horizontal stripes separated by thin white bands. At the center, a red, black, and white Maasai shield crosses with two spears. Each element has meaning: black represents the people of Kenya, red stands for the struggle for independence, green symbolizes the land, and white reflects peace. The shield and spears show the country’s readiness to defend its freedom.
This piece offers both maritime history and cultural value. Whether you’re collecting world flags or decorating a nautical space, this Kenyan flag adds character and story.
