Description
This is a salvaged Oscar signal flag once used for ship-to-ship communication. In the International Code of Signals, the Oscar flag means “Man Overboard” — a crucial visual alert on board.
The flag measures about 47 inches long by 39 inches high. It features plastic grommets on each end for mounting or hanging. The flag remains unwashed, showing original dirt and grime from use at sea. The yellow stitching is missing, and some red stitching is coming loose in areas.
