Description
This nautical flag of Burma/Myanmar came from a working vessel that crews cut up for scrap. The flag remains in found condition and shows signs of real maritime use. It has not been washed, cleaned, or altered since removal. This is the former national flag of Burma/Myanmar, used from 1974 to 2010.
The design features a central emblem that reflects the country’s political and economic structure during that period.
Flag details and symbols:
- Fourteen white stars representing the nation’s 14 member states
- A central gear symbolizing industry
- A rice bud inside the gear representing agriculture
- Original fabric showing wear consistent with age and use
The photos show one side of the flag along with a close-up of the fabric.
