This nautical Columbia flag was removed from a vessel being cut up for scrap. This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.

The meaning behind the colors on this flag is that the yellow represents the gold abundant in Colombia, the blue the country’s seas, and the red, the blood spilled fighting for Colombian independence.
