Letter "G" Nautical Signal Flag - 39" x 48"

Product Description:

This letter G nautical signal flag was removed from a vessel being cut up for scrap.  This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.

G: Golf – “I require a pilot.”

By fishing vessels near fishing grounds: “I am hauling nets.”

Width: 39″

On the flag-pole side of the flag, there is a small brass hook, and on the opposite corner, there is a short section of rope with a small brass hook.

Shown in the photos is one side of the nautical signal flag and a close-up of the fabric’s fibers, which we believe are cotton.
