This Malta Ship Flag – 60″ x 38″ was removed from a vessel being cut up for scrap. This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.
The meaning behind the colors of the flag are as followed: The red is thought to symbolize sacrifices made by the Maltese people for defending their faith, the white stands for peace, love, light and optimism and the George Cross is for bravery.
You can see from the photos that this flag is very dirty. Other than that it is in good condition. Nautical flags are a great addition to any collection.
