You are looking at the France Ship Flag – 58″ x 39″ that was salvaged from a once-working vessel.

The “tricolore” (three-color) flag is an emblem of the Fifth Republic. It had its origins in the union, at the time of the French Revolution, of the colors of the King (white) and the City of Paris (blue and red).  The colors are occasionally said to represent different flowers; blue represents cornflowers, white represents marguerites, and red represents poppies.

An excellent addition to showcasing alongside other national ship flags! Ideal for restaurants or hotels with a nautical or country theme.
