X Nautical Signal Flag

This letter “X” nautical signal flag was removed from a vessel bring cut up for scrap.  This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.

X – Xray: “Stop carrying out your intentions and watch for my signals.”

On the corner of the flag-pole side of the flag, there is a small loop, and on the opposite corner, there is a short section of rope.
