Nautical Signal Flag G

This nautical letter G Golf signal flag was removed from a vessel being cut up for scrap.  This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.

G: Golf – “I require a pilot.”

By fishing vessels near fishing grounds: “I am hauling nets.”

This flag measures 28 inches wide and 35.5 inches long.

On the flag-pole side of the flag, there is a small brass hook, and on the opposite corner there is a short section of rope with a small brass hook.
