Bangladesh Ship Flag – 58″ x 37.5″

This Bangladesh Ship Flag – 58″ x 37.5″ was removed from a vessel being cut up for scrap. This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.

This flag’s meaning is very interesting.  Red means the bloodshed they had in the fight for their independence. The disk shape symbolizes “a new rising country” The green in the background stands for the green landscape and the rich vegetation.  The flag also has been said to symbolize hope and the importance of the Bangladesh youth.
