Authentic Ship Signal Flag – Letter Y (Yankee) – 68″x52″

This is a salvaged maritime signal flag representing the letter Y (Yankee). In international code, this flag means “I am dragging my anchor.” These flags were used at sea for communication between ships, either individually or in combination with others. This one is a real piece of shipboard history.
