This WW II U.S. Navy Ship Electric Horn is a rare piece. This item was used back in the 1940s.  This was used to warn about danger coming their way.

On the base is a plaque that has the manufacturing date 1943, the NO. H 6166 Serial H4-S Type H-4, Contract No. (can not be seen), Voltage 115 DC Amps, .238, Federal Electric Co., Inc. and Chicago, Illinois.

This WW II U.S. Navy Ship Electric Horn is made out of steel and the horn is solid brass. In the photos, you can see the conduit where the electric wiring would come out of and the switch beside it. On the bottom part of the horns loop you will see the letter H with 617 beside it.
