Description

Introducing an authentic piece of maritime history: this original Vintage WW II Clinometer: Mark 4 Mod 0, was crafted by John L. Chaney Instruments Co. It was manufactured in Lake Geneva, WISC for the US government to provide wartime aid during WWII.

Clinometers played a crucial role aboard ships, they were mounted on bulkheads in pilothouses or bridges to gauge the vessel’s roll or pitch angle. It is constructed from black bakelite and proudly stamped with Clinometer, Mark 4 Mod 0., John L. Chancey Instrument Co., and Lake Geneva, WISC. The bakelite does show some light weathering. This Vintage WW II Clinometer: Mark 4 is a must for collectors of the U.S. Navy, WW II, or maritime memorabilia.
