Product Description

You are looking at the Vintage Telegraph Works Clock. In March 1864, a man named Stephen W. Silver founded Silver’s India Rubber Works and Telegraph Cable Company Ltd. In July of that year the name was changed to  India Rubber, Gutta Percha, and Telegraph Works Company which was located in Silvertown, London.

This clock is made out of solid brass.  On the clock face, you will see the words Telegraph Works and Silvertown, London.  Also, towards the very top of the clock, you will see slow and fast as well. There is a key that goes with the clock.  The clock works for about 10 seconds and then stops.  This clock sits on a beautiful wooden shelf.

If you are looking for a showcase piece or if you are a clock collector then this item is for you!
