Description

This vintage pressure tank is a salvaged steel piece with heavy surface rust and clear signs of use. The cylindrical body shows a simple welded construction, and the overall form reflects its original industrial purpose. On top, the tank includes a hand pump handle, along with two valve fittings and a pressure gauge. The name Aeroil is visible on some of the components.

Originally, crews used tanks like this to manually build and control pressure for air or fluid systems. For example, on ships and in industrial settings, they relied on units like this to move liquids or maintain pressure without powered equipment. In addition, the hand pump allowed operators to generate pressure by hand, while the valves directed flow in and out of the tank.

Because this piece has not been restored, it retains its original surface condition. As a result, the rust and wear show its working history. Rather than refinishing it, we left it as found. This makes it a good fit for display, prop use, or as part of a collection of maritime or mechanical equipment.

Features:

  • Steel construction with visible rust and wear
  • Hand pump handle mounted on top
  • Two valve fittings and one pressure gauge
