Description

This vintage nautical clinometer comes from Kompas Rijeka, a maritime instrument maker based in the former Yugoslavia. Kompas means “compass” in Croatian, and Rijeka is a major port city on the Adriatic Sea known for shipbuilding and navigation equipment during the Yugoslav era. Ships used this instrument to measure tilt or heel and typically mounted it on the bridge or control room. The face includes two hands — one red and one black — and a clear numerical scale for reading angles.

The aluminum body shows age and use, with visible surface grime. We have not tested this clinometer, and we’re offering it as-is. It makes a solid piece for collectors, maritime enthusiasts, or anyone looking to display original ship equipment.

Features:

  • Aluminum body with glass face and tilt scale
  • Labeled “Kompas – Rijeka” (from Yugoslavia era)
  • Two hands: red and black
  • Sold untested, in used condition
