The Buffalo Fire Appliance Corp in Buffalo, NY, manufactured the Vintage 1 1/2 Quart Brass Buffalo Fire Extinguisher. They established the Buffalo Chemical Fire Extinguisher Company in 1895 to produce fire extinguishers and components for chemical firefighting units.

This fire extinguisher served as a practical safety device in the past, but it now serves mainly as a decorative item. It currently sits on a piece of wood for easier display. The wording on this item appears faint, so a closer look is necessary. However, a little polishing can restore its shine.
