Ship Salvaged Rotary Light Switch Marked “IR”

This Ship Salvaged Rotary Light Switch Marked “IR” is made of primarily brass. It has a Bakelite dial that would have turned a separate light fixture on and off. There are two conduit openings on the front. “IR” is cast into the brass under the Bakelite dial. We believe the “IR” Stands for Ingersoll Rand.

The mounting width for this switch is about 4 inches long by 3 inches wide. When mounted to the wall, this switch will extend outwards 3 inches. It weighs 1.7 pounds.
