You are looking at a set of three wood fids. A fid is a conical (cone-shaped) tool traditionally made of wood or bone. It is used to work with rope and canvas. It is used to hold open knots and holes in the canvas, and to separate the strands of synthetic or natural for splicing.
As you can see from the photos that this set has different lengths. We have one at 20 1/4″, one at 8.5″, and the smallest measures at 6 1/4″. Total weight of all three is 1 lb.
The largest one is the only one where you could pull a rope through. The other two do not have a hole.
