This is a Sea Glass Fisherman Float that was once used by fishermen in many parts of the world to help keep their fishing nets afloat. Japan apparently started using glass floats as early as 1910.
The float has a pretty color of green to it and in one of the pictures, you can see that there is a shell still on the bottom of the glass.
You have enough roping to hang this float as low as you would like it or raise it higher. It also would be pretty having it sit on a table surrounded by other nautical items!
This Green Sea Glass Float would add some beautiful color to your nautical-themed room!
Glass Ball Circumference: 41″
Length: 11″ not including rope
