Description
This Salvaged Ship Door with Porthole comes from a working vessel and shows the solid construction used in marine architecture. Doors like this were often installed in ship cabins or interior passageways.
The door features solid wood vertical plank construction and a round brass porthole window. The glass remains intact but shows surface scratches from years of use at sea.
One side of the door still shows a green-and-white EXIT sign, which likely marked an emergency route aboard the vessel. This detail adds to the door’s authentic maritime history.
The wood shows natural chips, wear, and aging from marine service. These marks highlight its working history and add character to the piece.
Because of its size and design, this door works well as architectural salvage, wall décor, or a functional door in a nautical-themed space. It also displays nicely in coastal homes, restaurants, bars, or maritime collections.
