Authentic Brass Seth Thomas Mantle Clock

You are looking at an authentic Seth Thomas Mantle Clock. The Seth Thomas Clock Company was founded by Seth Thomas and they began producing clocks in 1813. It was incorporated as the “Seth Thomas Clock Company” in 1853. On May 7, 1926, Seth Thomas Clock Company filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for trademark protection of the Seth Thomas brand with regard to clocks.  The trademark was granted in Oct. 1926 and was still active at the renewal date in 2017.

This clock is made of brass. There is an F and S switch that is used to make the clock go fast or to slow it down. On the bottom of the clock has the words SETH THOMAS – MADE IN USA.

To wind the clock you must use a clock key and you can find the spots by the numbers 4 and 8.

This has not been tested yet. The key is back at our warehouse so I will update this after testing.
