This is a rare Horrocks Ibbotson Saltwater Bamboo Fishing Rod! It has the original base from HIC, but the reel is from Ocean City Mfg Co.

Ocean City Mfg. was a company from Philadelphia Pennsylvania from 1917-1942. The imperial reel that was attached to this rod was also a saltwater reel. This reel was produced in 1941 or 1942.

This is a great item for a collector of vintage / antique fishing rods or for someone looking to decorate their home / office!
