This is an original solid cast brass nautical bulkhead light weighting about 5 pounds each. This light is ideal option for dock lights, seawall lights, or even interior lighting. It measures 11 1/2 inches from the top of the mount plate to the base of the cage. The mount plate is 4 5/8 inches wide and has four screw holes. The globe is made of glass and screws right into the top housing. The cage is also all cast brass and screws to the outside of the top housing. This light has been re-wired and a new 110-120 volt UL Listed bulb fixture installed. It takes a normal screw in house bulb of 60 watts or less. This wall mount or commonly called bulkhead style light is constructed of all cast brass with a copper rain cover added. These lights comes with a cast brass junction box that provides a wall mount surface measuring 4 1/2 inches wide. The two mount lugs have 5/16 inch mount holes that are about 5 inches on center of each other. Each light has a new porcelain bulb fixture that will handle a normal 65 watt house bulb of 120 volts. We have added new wire to reach into the junction box to make your connections. From the bottom of the brass globe cage to the top of the junction box, this light measures just over 10 inches. The copper rain cover measures 7 1/2 inches wide and has a finished rolled outside edge. To access the bulb, you unscrew the brass cage and then unscrew the glass globe. The glass globe is undamaged. Let's start out by saying this light is a solid 7 pounds of brass and copper. This original bulkhead style light was used in lots of different work area on large ships. This light was designed for wet outside locations, but can be used as a functional and decorative fixture in your home. This is an original wall mount bulkhead nautical light that is made of all cast brass material. It weight just about 9 pounds. This is a nice clean original nautical bulkhead light made by "Appleton". The grey colored base on this light is iron. The part of the base that the brass cage threads to is aluminum. Most people call this a Liberty Ship Light because of the construction. I did not remove this from a Liberty Ship, this is just a style name given to lights of this construction. This wall mount - bulkhead style light is made of all cast brass with a glass globe. We had a client that wanted an over sized bulkhead light, so we made this light for him. When his project was completed we had six pieces left over. When these six pieces are gone, they are gone for ever. These lights measure 15 inches tall (from the top of the wall mount plate to the bottom of the globe cage). The wall mount plate measures 4 3/4 inches wide and has 4 mount holes. When mounted to the wall, this light will extend out from the wall by 9 inches. The globe is 6 inches wide and 7 inches long. The globe and cage assemble unscrew as one piece to access the bulb area. This light came from a
private collection we acquired. The prior owner indicated that this
light was recovered from a WWII Liberty Ship salvage operation. It was
also noted that this design was also used on the WWII Submarines. We
have not made any effort to restore this light as we think most new
owners may want it in the original condition. This ceiling mount light was made by Betts & Betts Corporation. The makers' name can be found on the globe ring. This original heavy cast brass nautical light could be a wall or ceiling light depending on your application. This light measures 10 inches long, 5 1/2 inches wide, and will extend out from the mounting surface by 4 1/2 inches. It weights just under 8 pounds. It has 4 mount holes, two on each end. The glass is undamaged, but needs some additional cleaning. This light has been re-wired with a new Westinghouse UL Listed bulb fixture that holds a normal house bulb, or a T-10 appliance bulb. The fixture is rated for up to 250 volts. You have some different options on how to run your power source. First of all, you can run it into the original holes as shown in the photos. This is a
nice original masthead style nautical / ship light. Has a makers' mark of "B.T.".
Measures 13 inches tall and about 9 inches wide. The globe is 360 degree
fresnel glass. Other than needing a little cleaning, the globe is in
very good condition. This is one of my lights that was recovered from
one of my normal salvage yard operations. This light was painted when we
found it, so we have removed the paint and polished the copper and
brass. Most of the construction of this light is made of copper and the
top handle and some of the other hardware is made of brass.
As you can see from the attached photos, I have not cleaned the inside of this light, and it will need re-wired if you plan of lighting it up. I can re-wire and install a new 110-120 UL Listed fixture in this light for $50.00.

This is an original copper masthead
nautical / ship light. Looks like the makers' mark reads "BT". We salvaged this
light from one of our scrap yard operations and it was painted light
green in color when found. While we have removed most of the paint and
polished the copper surface, so of the original paint can still be seen.
The globe is fresnel glass, and it is in great condition. Sometime in
life, this light has been impacted on the top, and as you can see in the
photos, the top no longer sits perfect. Normally I re-wire lights like
this but because this one had such an odd original fixture I left it in
place. This light measures about 12 inches tall. Front to back, it
measures 9 1/2 inches. The back side of this light is 10 inches wide.

This is a monster nautical light. Check out the can of Coca-Cola next to this 28 inch tall original ship light. You are looking at 35 pounds of copper, brass and glass. Both globes are 360 fresnel glass. Both globes are in good condition with just some minor edge flaking. I have re-wired this light for 110-120 volt use. We have also installed two new UL Listed bulb fixtures that can handle 60-100 watt normal house bulbs. T-10 appliance bulbs work real well in these lights because the globes are each over 6 inches tall. This light is about 10 inches wide and both bulbs are accessed from the top screw off lid that is 8 inches wide. This light can be mounted to the top of a pole or hung upside down from the ceiling. Some people even suspend lights like this with chain from the ceiling. This light would also make a great dock light if you live on that big lake and need help finding home at night! This is ML Piper - Montreal Designed Anchor/Masthead
light was constructed of all copper and brass. The glass globe is 360
degree fresnel. The white stuff you see on the globe is paint, and it
can be removed. The whole light was painted white when we found it. The
globe has several chips to the raised edges, but has no holes or
cracks. These chips are common on real lights like this that come from
vessels being scrapped. This light has dents and dings that came from
years at sea, so if you are looking for a light with a new look, this
is not the one for you. You can do more polishing to this light if you
want to get more of this copper and brass look. This light measures just
short of 15 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Weight is about 18 pounds.
The original electrical system needs replaced if you want to light it
up.

Check out this oversize large original masthead light. See the coke can on the lower right hand side to get an ideal how big this one is. This light measures 19 inches tall. The flat back side measures 10 inches wide with the widest point being 14 inches wide. This light is constructed of brass and copper. The globes are fresnel glass. The globes have some edge chips and need some serious cleaning and possible polishing. This light has had some skin repair to correct some abuse it suffered at sea. The top hatch cover may not be original. One of the screws on the top hatch will not get screws in, it may need some thread tapping. Other than that, this 27 pound monster would like to come home with you. We have re-wired this light with two new Westinghouse UL Listed bulb fixtures and wire rated for up to 250 volts. The bulb fixtures handle any normal screw in house bulb, and you could put 100 watt bulbs in this one with no problems. Matched set of original nautical navigation lights. One is red (Port Side) and the other is green (Starboard Side). Constructed of all brass and copper, they guys will last another life time. Each light weights about 18 pounds. Both lights had a badge of some sort on the front just above the globe, but both have been removed. They each measure 15 inches tall. The two flat back surfaces measure 10 inches. From the back corner to the front curve of the light, they measure about 13 1/2 inches. The glass fresnel globes measure about 7 inches tall and about 10 inches wide. The globes are 160 degree. Both light globes have light wear, but nothing other than surface chips on the raised edges. The red and green color comes from removable shields that slide in behind the clear globe. These color shields can be removed so the lights reflect clear. This is an original H.L. Piper masthead light that is made of copper and brass. Measures just over 13 inches tall. The flat back side measures 10 1/2 inches wide, but the widest point of this light is 12 inches wide. From the back to the front it measures 11 1/2 inches. The hole you see on the flat back side is where the original electrical wires entered the light. I have re-wired this light with a new 110-120 Volt UL Listed fixture. I installed 12+ inches of extra wire so you can pull the wire into the original hole, or you can run it into a new hole anywhere you want in the housing. The two screw holes you see on the front near the bottom were part of some sort of barcket that held this light in place on the vessel. light is constructed of either pewter or lead and has cast brass trim.
It was made by "Telford, Grier, Mackay and Company, 11 Fairley Street,
Glasgow. Measures 14 1/2 inches tall. Check out the big light bulb in

From the top edge to the bottom edge, they measure 5 7/8 inches tall. None are perfect, they all have chips like the one shown in the additional photos. This light was acquired form the estate of a long time diver who spent most of his life diving the Great Lakes Regions of the United States. We have no knowledge of the wreck it was recovered from, but little question remains that it was taken from the Great Lakes Region. This 28 pound all copper and brass masthead light measures just over 25 inches tall. Not counting the four base mounts, it measures 10 inches wide. The glass globes have a few very minor flakes and could use some additional cleaning. Both globes are 360 degree fresnel glass. The top cover screws in place and is used to gain access to both bulbs. We have re-wired this light with two new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb holders, and it has been re-wired for up to 250 volts. Currently the power leads are using the original entry points, but you can drill a single hole in the base to hide all the supply wiring. No makers' identification found, but we think it is American or English made. This light has been cleaned up a little and has a lot of the original patina. You can spend a little more time cleaning and polishing, or display it just as you see it. Either way, it will make a very impressive use and display piece. This is an original cast brass engine room light that I have added a rain cover to. The rain cover is spun brass, and did not require any modification to the original light to install it. When mounted to the ceiling, this light will hang down 9 inches. The rain cover is just over 7 inches wide. This light weighs about 10 pounds! The two mounting holes are 5 1/4 inches on center apart. This is a very nice 1800's American wood trunk. Measures 40 inches wide, 24 1/2 inches tall, and 24 inches front to back. You have a hidden compartment inside the main trunk that has an attached flip lid. Not sure of the wood type. This trunk has some wear, has not been restored but has some older repairs. As you can see in the attached photos, this is not a common design for trunk of this period. I do not have keys to lock it, and can't verify if the lock even works.
