This is a solid brass Nautical Spot Light. Measures 16
inches tall, and 9 1/2 inches from front to back. The glass spot light

this light with a new 110-120 Volt UL Listed fixture for a normal house
bulb base. You can make your power connection inside the junction box on
the back side. No makers' mark or date stamp, but I assume this one is
American and would date to the 1950's or older. Can be used inside or
out! The mounting base is 5 inches wide and has three mount holes.

You want the real deal, here it is! This 22 pound
original nautical light is constructed of mostly cast brass. The one
piece 360 degree globe is fresnel glass. Glass is free of any damage
other than some very minor chipping on a few of the raised edges. The
top cast brass lid is held in place by three wing bolts. This light
measure 13 inches tall. The copper shield measures 19 inches wide. The
globe area measures 9 inches tall, and 8 1/2 inches wide. This light was
designed for outside use, but the uses inside the house is unlimited.
This light was designed to hang from the ceiling and has three
attachment points. The original bulb fixtures remain in place. Yes, it
has several bulbs, and they were all used at the same time. I recommend
re-wiring this light. Tell me how you want it configured for bulbs, and
I will quote you a price for anything you want. This is the only one in

This is one of my latest projects. The
solid brass original port hole mesaures 21 1 /2 inches wide, and the
glass is 16 inches. With the iron stand, the table measures 33 inches to
the top of the glass, the lugs stick out just a little taller. At the
time of the photos, I had not yet done anything with the two lower rings
that hold the legs in place. My thought was to place glass on the top
ring, and a nice oak shelf on the lower ring. The iron legs are mid
1800's hand rail sections from a British Colony building that was being
torn down near one of the shipyards I get items from. The only new parts
here are the three rings that hold the legs in place. The port hole
window sits firmly inside the top ring and is not attached, so it can be
removed for shipping. Item

This is a one of a kind compass. This was
recovered from one of my 2008 trips to the Alang Shipyards of India. As
shown, this piece measures 22 1/2 inches tall. The outside brass rings
measures 18 inches wide. The solid brass compass measures 8 1/2 wide and
6 inches thick. This is a fully functional liquid filled compass, and
the card is perfect. The compass gimbals freely. I do not see any
makers' mark on the compass. I made the base from steel and covered it
with real cow hide leather that is stamped with an alligator look. The
top half of this piece that is solid brass sits inside the steel base
and is removable. This would make a great entry way piece to the beach
house or office! Item #P1-07

If you are looking for a large 360 degree
light take a look at this one. This 25 pound all cast brass nautical
light measures 14 1/2 inches tall, and 9 1/2 inches wide. The globe is
fresnel glass and is has some raised surface chips, but no cracks or
serious chips. The light compartment is accessed by the top cover. We
have re-cast the wing nuts on the top as the original ones were damaged.
The new pieces are identical to the original ones, and after a few
months outside the brass will age to match the rest of the light. The
bottom mount is also something we made. The light was designed to screw
onto a threaded post on the vessel. We did not change the attachment
point, we just cast a base stand that threaded right to the original
hole in the base. We have not re-wired the light, it has the original
220 volt or 32 volt fixture. For $20.00 extra, we will re-wire and
install a new UL Listed 110-120 Volt fixture. The base mount is 3 7/8
inches wide, and has 4 mounting holes, and one center hole to bring
power to the light fixture. The three rods the secure the top cast brass
section to the base and holds the globe in place have also been
replaced. During the polishing process the original rods would not free
up.

so the bell will not ring unless you sort out the electrical

We call this the candle stick light. This solid brass
electric nautical light measures 10 1/2 inches tall. The 360 degree
glass globe measures about 7 inches tall and about 3 inches wide. This
light was designed for outside use, but has many applications for inside
lighting also. If you plan on using this light outside in a wet
location, it is best if you hang it as shown in the photo to the left.
It can be used outside in the inverted position, but you must seal the
base of the globe or you may get water inside the fixture. For interior
applications, this light can be hung any way you want. This light has
the original wiring and bulb holder, and I recommend re-wiring if you
plan on lighting it up. For $15.00 I can install a new 110 volt fixture
and have it ready to hang.
I have 60 of these lights in stock.

This is one of our newest designs! We have
taken an original teak wood tripod and mounted an original 18 pounds
solid cast brass masthead light to the top. They work real well in a
corner area, or between two chairs. In the attached photos you will see
the tripod in the lowest position (41 inches at the top of the light),
and with the tripod extended near the highest point of use (62 inches to
the top of the light). You can change the height by expanding the length
of the legs (they slide in and out), and by spreading the angle of the
downward legs. This light is pre-wired for 110 volts, all you need to do
is add the final plug or hard wire to your power source. I made several
of these designs, but no two are 100% match due to the original light
and tripod use. Item #P1-11 Price $475.00 Plus Shipping

This brass telephone box was made by the Henschel
Corporation in Amesbury, Mass. This is solid brass! The phone box
measures 14 X 14 inches. As shown, it measures 54 inches tall. The base
propeller measures 30 inches wide. Not shown in the photo, it has a nice
round wood base that sits under the brass propeller. The phone box is
held closed by three brass handles. In the photos you can see only one
is present. I have the other two, just need to get some brass mounting
bolts to hold them in place. The phone inside the box has 8 different
channels. I am not real sure if the small crank handle on the right hand
side of the phone was used to generate power or what. I have not tested
the operation of the phone. This is a great display piece that can be
used inside or outside. Originally the phone box mounted to the wall.
The rope covered pipe and brass propeller base were added at some point
to make a nice display piece. The phone box, pipe, and propeller are all
bolted together, so it can be shipped with less problems. Item #P1-12

This is a huge post light. Made of a combination of
copper and brass, it is ready for any location. You can mount this one
on a dock post, on the roof, or hang it upside down from the ceiling.
This light weights 23 pounds, so you already know it is not one of those
cheap repo you see listed all over the internet! This design is typical
of the Russian lights we remove from large container ships. Normally
these lights have four brass arms that extend off of the main housing.
These arms would have 1 inch holes on the end of each one. The
attachment point on the ship would have four open hooks. The light would
lock onto these hooks for attachment. I have removed the arms and used
the same brass to cast the three piece pipe mount you now see on the
bottom of this light. This small modification makes the light more
mountable for the new user. This is one of my best sellers! This light
is 18 inches tall, and 11 inches wide. You can change the center pipe on
the base and make it taller or shorter. When we re-wire these lights, we
run the new power leads down inside the pipe mount. The old hole for the
power leads is closed with sealer. This light needs re-wired and a new
light fixture installed if you plan on lighting it up. We can re-wire

Floats like this were used all over the
world for different purposes. This float was a mooring marker. The "C"
stands for Mooring Field, and the "7" stands for position number 7. When
you would call the harbor master for a parking spot, they would assign
you a space number in one of the many mooring fields in the harbor. This
marking system also helped when you called the harbor taxi for a lift to
shore. This original mooring float measures 38 inches tall, and about 18
inches wide. The end that is stuck in the ground looks just like the top
ring. This is a fully functional float, or a cool addition to your room

This is an original solid brass Masthead
light with a 180 degree fresnel (undamaged) glass globe. The makers' mark reads "T. Debarbieri 436 Genova GE1120".
Thought to be an early 1940's Italy designed light. Measures 13 1/2
inches tall, 12 inches wide, and if mounted to the wall it will extend
out by 11 1/2 inches. If you plan on lighting this one up, it will need

clients have reported using this light mounted to the wall with the
access door (normally the top) positioned on the bottom. This move makes
the light more attractive and makes changing the bulb less of a problem.
Originally this light mounted with 4 hooks that fitted to the two side

vessel. I have left these four rings on the light, but they can be

wide (not counting the outside bolts). The glass globe is 360 degree
fresnel. I have built a special base for this one to make mounting less
of a problem. The height of the light can be changed by adding a longer
pipe in the special base I built for it. Longer pipes to increase the
height can be found at your local hardware store in almost any length
you want. This light has the original bulb fixture. If you plan on
lighting this one up, it will need re-wired and fitted with a new bulb

This light is made of all copper and brass. We just
completed polishing it, so it looks great. With the large top handle in
the up position, it measures 19 inches tall. With both handles down, it
measures 14 inches tall. The large top and bottom handles can be used to
hang it, or they can be removed and you can mount it from the base. The
original 220 wiring and light fixture has been left in place, but we can
re-wire and install a new 110 volt light fixture this light for $20.00
extra. The globe is fresnel glass and shows no damage. We call this
design a "Masthead Light", and it has a 360 degree globe. Use this light
inside or outside, it will last for ever. Many people ask if we clear
coat our lights to protect the shine, and the answer is no. If you place
this light outside, it will gain some of the aged look back in no time,
and if you leave it inside it will look like the photo for a long time.

More copper than brass on this original
Masthead Ship Light! This light has a fresh polish job because it was
painted yellow when I found it. Measures 12 inches tall, 10 inches wide,
and when mounted to the wall it will extend out by 9 1/2 inches. The globe is fresnel type, and is
180 degrees. The globe has some minor edge flakes, but nothing to be
worried about. Many people ask me about the etched writing you see on
the globes of lights. As you can see in the photos to the left, this
light has two lines of etched information on the globe "N.P. 43360 /
21.7.74). These numbers were used in the maintenance logs of the vessels
to track repairs and testing of the light. This light is also stamped
"BT MASTHEAD" in the copper ban just above the globe. I am not sure what
this is, but I think it was a supplier's stock number, but no supplier's
name was found.
This light has the original 220 volt wiring and bulb fixtures, and
needs replaced if you want to light it up. I can re-wire for 110 volts
and install a new bulb fixture for $20.00 extra. This light can be used
inside or outside.

Everything else is what we made up here in the shop to make this movie

it up. Who cares, here it is, and it is cool! The wood is teak, and
everything else is brass (except the compensating weights). The base is
11 3/4 X 11 3/4 inches. The compass glass measures 6 inches wide, and
the card is 4 inches wide. The compass card is marked "Cassens & Plath

This G&B solid brass masthead type light was recently found in the ship
breaking yards of Alang. Already off the vessel when I found it. It was
days away from being melted down! This solid brass and copper light
weights 25+ pounds. I have just completed removing many coats of paint
and it got a complete polish job while we had it in the shop. The iron
hanging fixture was on it when i found it, so we left it in place. This
hanger can be removed with just a few bolts. As you see it in the photo
to the left, it measures 20 inches tall. Without the iron hanger, it
measures 14 inches tall. I left all the original wiring and bulb fixture
in place. I can re-wire this light and add a new 110 Volt UL Listed bulb
fixture for $20.00 extra. This is a great light to mount on top of a
post or other structure. You can hang it from the iron hanger that you
see attached to it. Never under estimate the looks of this light if it
were mounted upside down from the ceiling, they really look great like
that! As I say in my of my descriptions, mount it inside or out, it will
last for ever. This is the the real deal, not the normal repop you see
other people offering.

This is one of the most
useable solid brass nautical lights you can find. The cage and the base
that holds the light fixture are original. We designed the folding arm
and wall mount for one of our clients. When the job was complete, we had
a few extra lights that the client did not want. The old pieces and the
new pieces are all 100 percent cast brass, and will last forever even in
a salt water environment. The light has been re-wired and is ready for
your 110 volt installation. When we installed these for our client, we
found that 45 watt bulbs provided the best lighting. As you can see from
the attached photos, you can mount this light 4 different ways. You can
wall mount is with the light hanging down, or your can fold the light to
an up-right position. This light can also be ceiling hung, or you can
mount it with the base down. This light can be used as an indoor
fixture, or you can mount is outside. The globes are glass. The original
parts of this light were recovered from a shipyard operation and are not
new. It can be expected that items recovered from a shipyard operation
will not be new in the box condition. Please view the attached photos
and ask questions before you bid.
In the first attached photo you see the
light as it would hang from the ceiling position. In this position, the
light measures 15 1/2 inches tall. If you inverted the position to
become a base mount (like mounting it on a post) it would also measure
15 1/2 inches tall. The other photos show the light being used as a
wall mount. In this position, the light extends about 9 1/4 inches out
from the wall. From the wall mount screw to the top of the cage assembly
it measures 11 1/2 inches tall.
