	NEW ARRIVAL April 28th, 2013 This is a heavy duty original cast brass nautical post light. It measures 14 inches tall and about 8 1/2 inches wide. The base mount and attaching pipe are galvanized steel. This light weighs 18 pounds. The top cover is held closed by one flip lever, so accessing the bulb area is easy. The 360 degree fresnel glass globe is in very good condition but needs a little more cleaning. This light has been re-wired and new Westinghouse UL Listed wiring and bulb holder. All electrical parts are rated to work with any voltage under 240 volts. A normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less will work perfect in these lights. This is a great dock light that can be mounted as a post light, or turned upside down and hung from the ceiling. This could also be used in the front yard as a post mounted entry light. 	This is a nautical post light stands about 13 inches tall and is about 8 inches wide. It weighs 15 pounds. The widest part of the base measures 5 3/4 inches wide and has four mount holes. These lights are 100% cast brass and will never rust! These lights have some new parts that we have cast from other broken brass ship lights to make them complete. The globes are made of very thick fresnel glass and will have some minor edge chipping that is commonly on original fresnel globes. The top cover is held in place by three brass wing nuts. Each light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts. The bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wiring exits the light thru the center of the post mount so all wiring is enclosed when mounted. These are very attractive lights that can be used on interior or exterior projects. The globes are 360 degree fresnel glass and must be about 5/8 or more thick. The glass globes have minor wear that includes edge flaking or chipping, but no cracks. The glass may have some minor remains of paint and could use some additional cleaning. The base mount measures 3 7/8 inches wide. The top hatch opens very easy by pressing down on the slide bar and turning it to one side . This provides easy access to the bulb. 	Nice original nautical ship light constructed form brass and copper. Measures 16 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The globe is 360 degree fresnel glass. The glass has light wear, but no notable damage. The globe measures about 6 inches tall and about 6 inches wide. The base plate and small pipe you see on the bottom of this light were made to fit the original mounting hole. You can extend or shorten the base pipe with common parts found at any hardware store. 	This original cast brass nautical light / Port Navigation light was made by Transberg. Originally wired for 250 volts, we have freshly re-wired for 110-120 volts and a new UL Listed bulb fixture that holds a normal screw in house bulb has been added. 	This is an interesting example of the Norwegian built Tranberg light. This one was made so it could be a post mount, or a wall mount. Made of all cast brass and weights 18 pounds. Measures 13 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches wide. The 360 degree fresnel glass globe has very little sign of wear. All three wing nuts spin on and off with little effort. The base has three mount holes. The mount holes are 3 inches off center of the light. 	Looking for something with a that weathered look? This light has been mounted on a post here at the office for the last three years. We pulled it right from the post and added it to the web-site with no new polish work. This light is a monster, it weighs 18 pounds. It measures 10 1/4 inches tall and about 9 inches wide. It is made of all cast brass. The glass fresnel lens is about 6 inches tall and about 3/4 of an inch thick. The lens has some wear, but not anything too serious. The top hatch is 6 inches wide and is held closed by three large wing nuts. The wing nuts spin on and off by hand with no problems. We added new UL-Listed wiring rated for any voltage under 250 volts. The new bulb holder takes a common screw in house bulb of 100 watts or less. The base mount measures 5 inches wide and has four mount holes. The top hatch is held closed by a single flip closure and provides easy access to the bulb. We have installed a new Westinghouse UL-Listed bulb fixture that has factory installed 6 inch wire. The wires and fixture is rated for up to 250 volts. If you are using 110-120 house power, this is no problem. The new wires exit the light from the center hole in the base mount so all the wiring is hidden. You can use a normal screw in house bulb up to 100 watts. We recommend using a T-10 bulb in these lights, as this bulb gives more uniform light to the globes and allows the fresnel globe to better perform.
